OUR MISSION

Grace & Fire exists to celebrate and empower women through meaningful work. We partner with mothers in rural Guatemala to create handcrafted goods that provide living wages, preserve cultural traditions, and help families build sustainable futures.

    Dignified Work Over Charity

    Giving Work creates a sense of pride and confidence that comes with earning living for her family. Grace & Fire invests in repairing looms and providing thread to relieve the friction to earning a living wage in Rural Guatemala where few job opportunities exist especially for women.

    Equal and Fair Transactions

    The weavers in our program are not required to travel long distances to repeatedly market their work and depend on limited tourist traffic. Instead, they bring their weavings to Casa Tabito, a trusted clinic in their community where their work is valued and they are paid fairly and without negotiation.

    Community Building

    Women come together through our program and around the world to celebrate the art and culture of generations of weavings. The women weavers gather in yards and at the clinic to weave together, learn from each other, and sings song of joy.

The Grace & Fire Process

Weaving Collective

The weavers in our program are all Mothers of Casa Tabito. They have faced unfathomable realities while also carrying incredible hope and resilience. We celebrate their art and culture!

Workshop Partnership

Our workshop parter is located in Antigua, Guatemala where our genuine leather bags are combined with the weavings from the collective, are hand cut and sews through skilled craftsmen for quality and durability.
