Guatemalan Partners: Creating Sustainable Futures with Cultural Preservation

Our Partners in Guatemala

At Grace & Fire, our mission to empower mothers in rural Guatemala is made possible through the incredible partnerships we’ve built. Together with local clinics, weaving collectives, and dedicated artisans, we’re creating opportunities that go beyond fashion—building pathways to health, dignity, and sustainable futures.

Casa Tabito Clinic: Healing With Heart

Our partnership with Casa Tabito Clinic began with a shared vision: providing life-saving care for children and families in rural villages. The clinic serves as a safe haven for mothers and their babies facing malnutrition and health crises. By standing alongside Casa Tabito, we ensure that every purchase from Grace & Fire contributes to the women served by Casa Tabito.

This partnership ensures that the women in our program already have a safe home with a water filter, clean air stove, and is receiving adequate food. We want to elevate some of these resources by creating opportunities that will create a sustainable living for these families.

The clinic’s compassionate team provides care, nutrition programs, and wellness support that changes the trajectory of entire families. Their tireless work inspires us daily and grounds Grace & Fire in our commitment to holistic impact. The clinic is our home base for these mothers in our weaving collective.

Our Weavers: Artisans of Legacy

At the heart of Grace & Fire are the Guatemalan women weavers whose artistry, strength, and resilience inspire our brand every day. These women are more than artisans—they are mothers, leaders, and protectors of cultural heritage. Each piece they create tells a story of survival, pride, and community.

Every bag is carefully handcrafted, combining full-grain leather with hand-loomed textiles to create timeless designs. When you carry one of our bags, you carry their story with you—a story of resilience, empowerment, and generational legacy.

The Guatemala Collective: A Small Leather Workshop

The Guatemala Collective is the heart of our social enterprise. This initiative creates  dignified work opportunities rooted in respect and dignity. Through this collective, you are able to purchase high quality bags with genuine leather and real craftsmanship.

With only a few craftsmen working on pieces, we are creating high impact for people with low impact on the earth. This is a slow fashion process that we are proud of. Creating jobs for Guatemalans means that food is on the table, children are being educated, and desperation is lessened. The mission of this workshop is to create sustainable jobs for locals.

The work done by this work shop is consistent, durable, and beautiful. We can't wait for you to see it for yourself.

Together, We Create Change

Partnership is the thread that binds Grace & Fire together. With the Casa Tabito Clinic, the Guatemala Collective, and our talented Momma Weavers, we are weaving a brighter future—one bag, one family, one village at a time.

Every single leather bag purchased from Grace & Fire goes towards including more women into the weaving collective.

When you choose Grace & Fire, you don’t just invest in purposeful fashion—you stand alongside women in Guatemala, helping them create lives filled with dignity, opportunity, and hope.
