Every thread has a purpose. La Guardia begins in rural Guatemala, where women artisans use traditional weaving techniques to create textiles that reflect their remarkable skill and heritage.

These handwoven pieces are then beautifully finished with premium leatherwork in Antigua, creating a stylish laptop-case–style clutch designed to carry your essentials with ease. A secure zipper and consciously sourced lining add thoughtful functionality.

The vegetable-tanned leather is treated using natural ingredients such as bark and leaves, allowing its unique texture and markings to remain visible. These natural characteristics can be softened with a small amount of leather conditioner.

With every La Guardia, you carry a piece of Guatemalan craftsmanship while helping support meaningful employment for women artisans.

Each weaving is created by hand by Mother weavers in rural villages. The weavings we purchase from the weavers takes about a month to make with an original size of about 6 feet in length.
