You're Woven Into Her Story

Together, we're weaving brighter futures.

What if the Grace & Fire of a  Mother could heal the past, ignite new beginnings, and reshape the legacy of generations to come?

The skill was always there, passed through indigenous ancestors. What was missing was opportunity. Without the tools, thread, or a market to sell their work, mothers faced impossible choices between feeding their families and investing in their craft, and there wasn't enough for either.

Every woman who weaves with Grace & Fire is a mother of Casa Tabito, a clinic that brings severely malnourished infants back to health and walks alongside their families toward a safer future. Most have experienced unimaginable loss. All have watched their children fight for their lives. Yet each carries extraordinary strength, determination, and the grace and fire to keep moving forward.

We believe every mother is the hero of their own story and these mothers have proven their determination to live and love time and time again.

Together we have an extraordinary chance to build the bridge between remarkable skills and meaningful change. Every purchase sustains this work, with profits reinvested to welcome more mothers to the loom.

OUR GREATEST STAKEHOLDERS ARE BABIES.

Handcrafted with Purpose

When you carry a Grace & Fire bag or place a weaving on your dinner table, we hope it becomes more than something beautiful. We hope it reminds you of the goodness in the world, of a mother’s determination, and of what becomes possible when we recognize our shared humanity.

We Stand with Her

"Relationships are the heart of God's shalom and are true bridges of change. We are called to be friends, not service providers or saviors" - Noel Castellanos

In rural Guatemala, generations of families have lived in the grip of persistent poverty, where even the most basic necessities are often out of reach. Children suffer from chronic malnutrition, and some infants face life-threatening hunger before they have had a chance to grow. Families live in homes without safe floors, reliable clean water, proper sanitation, or protection from smoke-filled cooking fires. Meaningful employment is scarce, and what little work exists is often seasonal, poorly paid, and far from home. For mothers, the barriers are even greater, with limited economic independence and few opportunities to earn an income while caring for their children. These hardships are deeply connected. Without basic necessities, the next generation begins life facing many of the same obstacles.

The cycle continues, not because families lack the strength or desire to change their circumstances, but because the opportunities and resources needed to do so remain out of reach.

We Put Dignity First

We believe meaningful work creates more than income. It creates choice, confidence, stability, and a path forward.

We Honor The Hands That Make It

Every weaving carries generations of skill, culture, and artistry. We preserve traditional craftsmanship while ensuring artisans are valued and fairly compensated.

We Put People Before Profit

We measure success by more than what we sell. Growth means creating sustainable work, strengthening families, and opening opportunities for the next generation.

We Believe Less, But Better

We choose thoughtful production over excess—creating enduring pieces, minimizing waste, and continually seeking better ways to care for the people and planet behind everything we make.

Together, we create sustainable change.

It's not about rescuing someone. It's about recognizing the light already present in people—their love, determination, creativity, generosity, and dignity—and creating opportunities for that light to reach farther.

A reminder that what we carry can represent the goodness we choose to see and share.
